Éric's Launcher is a Control Strip Module. It allows to launch your preferred applications, to switch the current one or to drop a document icon on an open application icon to open that document with that application.
Installation
The installation is really easy. Just drop the icon “Éric’s Launcher” inside the folder “Control Strip Modules”. Be aware to not drop the icon on the System folder, because the Finder will place it correctly. Now, just restart your computer.
How to use
Éric’s Launcher create the “Éric’s Launcher Folder” inside your System folder. The Launcher read from there all applications or their alias and add them to its popup menu. To add a new application to the list, you have two choices:
1) Add an alias in that folder directly from the Finder;
2) Choose the menu item Add “Application XYZ” which will create the alias for you.
Price and registering
Éric’s Launcher is distributed with the Shareware principle. There is a 10 day trial period, after which you must register your copy using the “Register” application that came with this module. The cost is only US$ 15.

Café d’Éric do no sell you the software included (Software), but grant you a License to use it, only with the terms and conditions of this License, and Café d’Éric keep all the rights which aren’t explicitly granted to you.
1. License. This License grant you to:
(a) Use one copy the Software on only one computer at a time. If you install on more than one computer, you have the responsibility to check that there is never more than one copy loaded in RAM.
(b) Give away an unregistered and complete copy, which include all help, install and registering files.
2. Restrictions. The Software contains commercial secrets readable by humans, and to protect them, you should not decompile, disassemble or any other action that may change the Software in a form readable by humans. You are not allowed to modify, adapt, translate, lease, rent nor create derived art from the Software or any part of it.
3. Termination. This License is valid it has been terminated. This License will be terminated immediately, without notice, by Café d’Éric or tribunal judgment, if you omit to respect any of the term or condition of this License. As soon as this termination, you should destroy the Software, all its documents which come with the Software; items 4, 5, 6 will continue to be in effect even with the termination.
4. Disclaimer Of Warranty. The Software is licensed on an “AS-IS” basis. This warranty is the only warranty granted by Café d’Éric and Café d’Éric. This License dœs not warrant, guarantee or make any representations regarding the use, or the result of use, of the software or written materials in terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability or otherwise.
5. Limitation Of Liability. Under no circumstances including negligence, shall Café d’Éric or its owner be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use the Software, even if Café d’Éric or an Café d’Éric authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Café d’Éric’s total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise) exceed the of amount paid for the Software.
6. Generalities. This License shall be governed by the law of the Province of Quebec, except for that body of law dealing with conflicts of law. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, the remainder of this License shall continue in full force and effect.
